Animal Liberation Advocate, Vegan Author, Freelance Writer
Raghu Aditya is an independent “animal liberation” advocate, a seasoned language professional, and the author of the Nepali book “शाकाहार तर्काधार,” which addresses the common questions and misconceptions surrounding veganism in Nepal. A vegetarian since the age of eight and a vegan for the past eleven years, Raghu brings decades of experience and reflection to his work.
He has worked as a freelance editor (for English language) for over 15 years, contributing to scientific journals, academic papers, and literary works in Nepal. His academic interests span environmental science, veterinary science, nutrition, archaeology, and history.
Raghu’s firsthand observations of animal farming practices in Nepal and the cultural narratives that sustain them have shaped his nuanced approach to advocacy. Raghu seeks to challenge the stigma and misconceptions surrounding veganism and encourage a more compassionate and responsible society.
