Mr. Kalyan Silwal is the passionate founder of Vegan House P. Ltd., based in Jhamsikhel, Lalitpur—an inspiring vegan café that has redefined plant-based dining in Lalitpur using mostly authentic Nepalese flavors.

Driven by compassion and a deep commitment to veganism, Kalyan decided to transform not only his lifestyle but also his business practices. As a tourism entrepreneur, he had witnessed various forms of animal exploitation while entertaining tourists in Nepal. Those experiences led him to establish Elite Earth Pvt. Ltd., an ethical travel company primarily focused on promoting cruelty-free tourism in Nepal. While searching for a suitable space for the travel office, he came across the building that once housed Cya Vegan Café. At the time, the café was struggling due to the ongoing economic crisis and had fallen into a state of closure. Realizing the need of such cafes, and guided by his values, Kalyan took a bold step to breathe new life into it. He revitalized the space, transforming it into Vegan House Café & Restaurant, a thriving hub for compassionate cuisine, now beloved by both vegans and non-vegans.

His menu features standout dishes like especially for the non-vegans who would like to transform their daitery habits without compromising the tastes and nutrition values. Plant-based meat, sausages, fish, and dairy are the major attraction of café. Seitan Sadeko, Varieties of Momos, Biryani, Keema Noodles, Kombuchha, Soy Mylk Masala Tea, are the top notch dishes. The ambience of the restaurant and their warm hospitality makes every guest feel at home. His, Elite Earth Travel, a vegan/ an ethical travel agency based in Lalitpur, Nepal, is dedicated to promote Nepal as one of the world’s most exciting and welcoming vegan destinations. Through this venture, he combines his love for ethical tourism and conscious cuisine, offering curated experiences that reflect both cultural richness and sustainable values.
